The nightly pill take
So,
let me take my pills,
That holds at bay the ills,
When I once had the chills
Then
I weep at peristalsis,
Probably in need of analysis,
Water in throat paralysis
And
in a moment, it goes down,
Though with rice, I almost drown,
That I can’t even pull a frown
Many
years these gems I swallow,
Just as sleep will soon follow,
Not that I want to wallow
But
to take the very attitude,
In much great and deep gratitude,
The medicine keeps us renewed.
